World No. 1 men's tennis player Carlos Alcaraz (23, Spain) is a golf expert recognized even by Novak Djokovic (Serbia).
According to U.S.-based Golfweek on June 11 (Korea time), Djokovic, a legend with 24 career Grand Slam singles titles, discussed a recent golf round with Alcaraz and Alexander Zverev (Germany) in an interview with Tennis Channel on June 10. Zverev is the 2021 Tokyo Olympics gold medalist.
"It was my first time playing golf with these two, and it was fun with some subtle mind games," Djokovic recalled. "I'm a decent golfer myself, but I can't play as well as these guys."
Regarding Alcaraz specifically, Djokovic expressed amazement: "He hit his tee shot 300 yards on the first hole. It was a par-5, and he was immediately going for eagle. I thought to myself, 'What can't this guy do?'"
