Korea Racing Authority will resume its "Pony Experience" program at Let's Run Park Seoul starting March 14, following strong demand last fall.
The hands-on program allows visitors to interact directly with ponies, a small horse breed. Last autumn, every session sold out quickly. After a winter hiatus, the program reopens for spring and will operate every Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. through year-end.
This spring season features two programs: "Pony Riding" and "Playing with Ponies." Pony Riding costs 5,000 won and lets participants ride ponies or Hallama horses around a circular arena. For safety reasons, only elementary school students at least 100 centimeters tall may participate. Playing with Ponies costs 4,000 won and includes grooming, walking, and photo opportunities with ponies. This program has no age restrictions.
Visitors can make reservations by time slot at the Pony Experience Lounge in Pony Land at Let's Run Park Seoul. Only credit card payments are accepted. Gwacheon residents receive a 50% discount.
"The Pony Experience program offers children a special opportunity to create precious memories through interaction with animals rarely encountered in urban areas," a Korea Racing Authority official said. "We hope many families will visit Let's Run Park Seoul this spring to enjoy warm and pleasant moments."
