Callaway Launches Opus SP+ Wedge with Enhanced Spin Technology

Callaway has released the Opus SP+ wedge. The company describes the Opus series as a line that pursues precision performance, as its name meaning "masterpiece" suggests, with proven tour-level technology delivering enhanced quality.

The new spin pocket structure maintains the two-piece head design while reducing weight in the lower portion to optimize the center of gravity. This enables both low trajectory and high spin simultaneously, providing excellent shot control across various short game situations.

The SpinGen 2.0 technology applied to the face maximizes friction between ball and clubface, enabling stable ball control in diverse conditions. The refined leading edge and newly improved sole design provide stability at address and support delicate shot-making. The wedge is available in four loft options from 54 to 60 degrees in two-degree increments.
