
The Korean Basketball League's salary cap will remain at current levels for the upcoming season.
The KBL held its fourth board meeting of the 31st term at the KBL Center in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, on the 4th to discuss the salary cap for the 2026-2027 season. According to the decision, the domestic player salary cap will be maintained at 3 billion won. The foreign player salary cap was also frozen at $1 million, with an individual cap of $700,000.
The playoff schedule for the current season was also finalized. The quarterfinal playoffs will run from April 12 to 21, followed by the semifinal playoffs from April 23 to May 2. The championship finals will begin on May 5 and conclude on May 17 if the series extends to a seventh game. Tip-off times are set for 7 p.m. on weekdays and 2 p.m. on weekends.
