FootJoy Launches Golf Shoe Fitting System 'FitLAB' in Korea

Golf shoe brand FootJoy (FJ) announced on the 3rd that it has introduced its golf shoe fitting system "FitLAB" to the Korean market.

FitLAB is a data-driven golf shoe fitting program based on FootJoy's global philosophy that "golf performance starts from the feet." The system uses "Volumental," a world-renowned 3D foot scanning technology adopted by multiple global sports and footwear brands as their fitting solution. It analyzes structural characteristics of the foot through data, including foot length and width, instep height, arch structure, left-right asymmetry, and weight distribution. Customers can then try on recommended golf shoes under the guidance of in-store fitting consultants and verify performance changes before and after wearing through Swing Catalyst analysis.

FitLAB is available at FootJoy's flagship store in Dosan. The location offers one-on-one fitting consultations and swing analysis covering data analysis, golf shoe structure interpretation, model recommendations, and performance verification. An FJ official said, "Through FitLAB, golfers can find golf shoes optimized for their foot structure and directly experience the difference in their performance."
