LIV Golf is entering the gaming space.
LIV Golf announced on the 25th that it has officially launched "LIV Golf Fantasy" and "LIV X" in partnership with Beyond Sports, a Sony Group subsidiary. The platforms were developed to provide golf fans worldwide with more immersive engagement experiences across players, teams, tournaments, and the entire season. Fans can begin participating starting with the HSBC LIV Golf Hong Kong tournament, scheduled for March 5-8 at Hong Kong Golf Club.
LIV Golf Fantasy, accessible via mobile and web browsers, is a game where users select four players to build their own team. A hole-by-hole scoring system, departing from traditional tallying methods, delivers high engagement on every shot. The platform offers features including expert recommendations, fantasy caddie guides, and lineup alerts, with 15 prizes available throughout the season.
LIV X is a fan engagement platform. As LIV Golf's digital content hub, it allows fans to go beyond watching matches by participating directly through various games and features while earning rewards. The platform includes quizzes, daily games, tournament predictions, and voting. Users can accumulate points and levels through gameplay to earn rewards such as early ticket purchases and pro swing analysis. Exclusive content related to players and teams is also provided.
