
Kim Hyo-joo, 31, has maintained the highest world ranking among Korean players on the LPGA Tour.
In the women's golf world rankings released Monday, Kim Hyo-joo earned 3.87 points to secure ninth place, the highest position among Korean players. Kim Hyo-joo and Kim Se-young, who ranked 10th, are the only Korean players in the top 10.
Kim Hyo-joo finished third at the LPGA Tour's Honda Thailand, which concluded Sunday, posting a final score of 22-under-par 266. Lee So-mi, who finished fourth at the tournament, rose one spot from 39th to 38th in the world rankings. Choi Hye-jin, who placed eighth, climbed two positions from 17th to 15th.
Honda Thailand winner Jeeno Thitikul of Thailand firmly held the world No. 1 position with 11.51 points. She maintains a substantial lead over second-ranked Nelly Korda of the United States, who has 7.57 points. World rankings three through six are held by Charley Hull of England, Minjee Lee of Australia, Miyu Yamashita of Japan, and Lydia Ko of New Zealand.
