Choi Hye-jin leads all-time prize money among winless players on the LPGA Tour. Despite lacking a victory, she has posted consistent results in every tournament. Last week, she finished tied for fourth at the Ladies European Tour's PIF Saudi Ladies International in Saudi Arabia, having led through three rounds.
Choi, who could break through at any moment, is targeting her first LPGA Tour victory during the three-week Asian swing. The stretch begins with the Honda LPGA Thailand, running four days from February 19 at Siam Country Club Old Course (par 72) in Chonburi, Thailand. Following this event, the LPGA Tour continues its Asian run with the HSBC Women's World Championship in Singapore and the Blue Bay LPGA in China.
Ten Korean players will compete in this 72-player field, including Choi, Kim Sei-young, Kim Hyo-joo, Lee So-mi, Kim A-lim, Lim Jin-hee, Ryu Hae-ran, Ko Jin-young, Lee Mi-hyang, and Yoon I-na.
World No. 1 Jeeno Thitikul of Thailand, defending champion Angel Yin of the United States, and 2025 Rookie of the Year Miyu Yamashita of Japan are expected to challenge the Korean contingent for the title.
Season-opening winner Nelly Korda of the United States and Amy Yang, a three-time champion at this event, will not compete.
