Korean-American golfer Anthony Kim climbed to third place on Day 3 of LIV Golf Adelaide, a tournament with a total purse of $30 million.
Kim carded a 4-under-par 68 in the third round at Grange Golf Club (par 72) in Adelaide, Australia, on Saturday, recording one eagle, four birdies, and two bogeys. With a cumulative score of 14-under-par 202, Kim enters the final round in sole possession of third place, trailing co-leaders Bryson DeChambeau and Jon Rahm by five strokes at 19-under-par.
Kim left the PGA Tour after 2012 and returned to professional golf on the LIV Golf circuit in 2024. His best LIV Golf finish this season was a tie for 22nd at LIV Golf Riyadh last week, the season opener. His last victory was at the PGA Tour's Houston Open in April 2010.
Co-leader Rahm's tee shot on the final 18th hole (par 4) veered sharply left, but he holed out his second shot from 75 yards to set up a final-round showdown with DeChambeau for the title.
Korean Golf Club captain An Byeong-hun sits tied for 17th at 9-under-par. An's teammate Danny Lee of New Zealand is tied for 23rd at 8-under-par, while Song Young-han and Kim Min-kyu are tied for 33rd at 5-under-par.
