The Korea Golf Course Management Association announced on January 10 the results of its survey on opening and closing schedules of member golf courses nationwide during the three-day Lunar New Year holiday from January 16 to 18.
According to the survey, 48 golf courses will remain open throughout the holiday period including Seollal (Lunar New Year's Day) on January 17, while 51 courses will close only on Seollal itself. Eighteen courses will be closed for all three days.
"Many golf courses are currently in winter closure, and some have not finalized their schedules due to snow forecasts during the holiday period, so reservations should be confirmed in advance," the association said. "Additional information will be updated in real-time on the association's website."
