The Korea Sports Promotion Foundation (KSPO) has prepared a generous bonus for the Korean delegation participating in the 2026 Milan-Cortina d'Ampezzo Winter Olympics.
KSPO Chairman Ha Hyung-joo visited the Olympic Village in Milan, Italy, on February 7 to encourage the Korean team, delivering 20 million won ($14,000) in bonus funds to delegation head Lee Soo-kyung, the foundation announced on February 9.
Ha, a judo gold medalist at the 1984 Los Angeles Summer Olympics, said, "I hope the sweat of the past four years will bear fruit on the grand stage of the Olympics." He added, "Together with the Korean people, we will cheer with warm hearts for our athletes to compete without injury and without regret."
KSPO provides bonus funds to national team delegations at major international competitions including the Olympics to boost morale and enhance performance.
