The "zero putter" craze swept the golf equipment market last year. Now Golf Pride appears to be extending that momentum to the grip market, unveiling its new "Zero Taper" putter grip.
The Zero Taper features a parallel structure designed to deliver identical grip feel to both hands during putting. The company says this optimizes hand positioning and promotes consistent grip pressure. This helps keep the putter face more square at impact, boosting confidence and performance on the green. The grip comes in two sizes—medium and large—and three colors: black, blue, and red.
The Zero Taper's uniform shape provides equal sensation to both hands, while its side profile makes putter face movement more visible. The back features a horseshoe-shaped design that allows fingers to rest naturally. Visual guide elements also help golfers grip with consistent hand placement every time.
Like the Reverse Taper released in 2024, the Zero Taper is made of polyurethane material. It offers a soft, responsive feel and ideal weight balance. "The Reverse Taper has become one of the best-selling putter grips worldwide since its launch," said James Redford, President of Golf Pride. "The Zero Taper extends that success for golfers who prefer a consistent shape."
