Dutch Skater Arrives at Olympics on Private Jet with Fiancé Jake Paul

The 2026 Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics have struggled to capture global attention despite the opening ceremony approaching. However, the spotlight on certain stars competing at the Games is intensifying.

Dutch skater Jutta Leerdam (28) is one such star. Leerdam is a formidable competitor who won a silver medal in speed skating at the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. Her primary event is the 1,000 meters, and she will also compete in the 500 meters, where she won silver at last year's World Championships. She completed her Olympic rehearsal by finishing second with a time of 37.223 seconds in the first women's 500-meter race at the 2025-2026 International Skating Union (ISU) World Cup 5th round held in Inzell, Germany last month.

Standing 182 centimeters tall with striking features and athletic appeal, Leerdam has long been popular among winter sports fans. Her name became widely known in entertainment circles because of YouTuber-turned-professional boxer Jake Paul.

Paul commented "Time to shine" on the post, expressing his support.

Paul is a global influencer boasting 21 million subscribers. He recently made headlines by fighting former world heavyweight boxing champion Anthony Joshua and faced Mike Tyson in 2024. His purse from the Joshua fight alone was at least 130 billion won ($95 million).

Leerdam is Paul's fiancée. The couple announced their engagement last year. Since then, Paul has publicly supported Leerdam at major international competitions and events. The Milan Olympics are no exception.

Paul and his fiancée arrived in Italy by private jet. Photos Leerdam posted on social media show the aircraft interior decorated in orange, the Netherlands' national color. The plane was adorned with the Dutch flag and Olympic rings, and custom cupcakes inscribed with "Succes Jutta" (Good luck, Jutta) were prepared.
