Bridgestone Golf Launches New Tour B Series, Tiger Woods Reports 13-Yard Distance Gain

Bridgestone Golf will release its new Tour B series golf balls, famously known as the "Tiger Woods ball," on January 10.

The new Tour B balls are designed to minimize the effects of various environmental factors such as wind and moisture while enhancing durability to deliver consistent performance, according to the company.

The new products feature new materials blended into the core and inner cover to achieve low spin while generating fast ball speed, the company said. The ST Hydro Core, which increases resilience by adding water during the core manufacturing process, now incorporates new materials to improve durability. The ST Inner Cover surrounding the ST Hydro Core increases ball velocity and minimizes the effect of wind. The high-density inner cover is also less affected by external factors such as grass and dirt.

The new lineup comes in three variations: Tour B X Tiger Woods Edition, Tour B X Corporate Edition, and Tour B XS Corporate Edition. Tiger Woods expressed satisfaction with the new product, saying his driving distance increased by 13 yards, according to the company.
