Kang Seong-min, deputy commissioner of the Public Procurement Service (PPS), visited iOCrops, an agricultural corporation and smart farm innovation firm based in Jincheon County, North Chungcheong Province, on the 29th to discuss support measures that could help young farmers' innovation companies grow through public procurement.
iOCrops is a young entrepreneurs' firm that was designated as a PPS innovation product in 2023 through its "smart farm data remote monitoring sensor and platform" technology.
"We will pursue institutional improvements and sales channel support so that innovative technologies from the field can smoothly enter the public market," Kang said.
