Korea Railroad Corp. (Korail) said it is adjusting operations of conventional trains between Bugang Station and Seochang Station on the Gyeongbu Line due to concentrated heavy rain in the section.
According to Korail on the 9th, as of 8 a.m. that day, the suspended trains numbered four in total: two Mugunghwa-ho trains and one Saemaeul-ho train on the Daejeon-Seoul route, two Mugunghwa-ho trains on the Daejeon-Jecheon route, and one Mugunghwa-ho train on the Iksan-Yongsan route.
KTX services on the Gyeongbu Line are currently operating normally.
"We ask that train customers use other means of transportation or check train operation information on the Korail Talk app or website before traveling," a Korail official said.
