A senior official at Seoul's Gangnam Police Station has been removed from duty over an allegation of sexual misconduct.
According to reporting compiled by Seoul Economic Daily on the 9th, a police superintendent assigned to Seoul's Gangnam Police Station was placed on standby status that day. "Because this is a personal misconduct matter, it is difficult to explain exactly what the allegation involves," a police official said.
Police are expected to pursue disciplinary proceedings after determining the precise circumstances of the case from the superintendent, sources said.
