Seoul's Nowon District has built a train-themed riverside cafe called "Nowon Gyeongchun Maru" atop the Gyeongchun Railway Bridge over the Jungnangcheon stream and will begin operations Saturday.
The observation-style cafe offers views of both the Gyeongchun Line Forest Trail and the Jungnangcheon stream, featuring a train-shaped design and photo zones. In an engine room experience space, visitors can operate a driver's seat and try the train horn.
From the riverside observation deck, visitors can enjoy the Jungnangcheon stream and the Gyeongchun Railway Bridge musical fountain up close. At night in particular, the scenery combined with lighting offers a distinctive attraction.
An elevator has been installed to improve accessibility, and the cafe mainly serves beverages and simple bakery items. During summer, it opens from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
