On Tuesday morning, staff from the "Mobile Umbrella Repair Center" fixed residents' broken umbrellas at the Samjeon-dong Community Center in Songpa District, Seoul.
The "Mobile Umbrella Repair Center" has established itself as one of Songpa District's signature community-oriented administrative services, with the number of uses reaching 7,505 last year. This year as well, the center has been operating by touring each neighborhood community center since March, so that residents can use the service before the full rainy season begins.
At the "Mobile Umbrella Repair Center," each person can receive repair service for up to two umbrellas. The labor is free, but if separate parts need to be replaced, the resident must cover the material costs.
