The Gyeonggi Business & Science Accelerator (GBSA) is recruiting companies for its "2026 Bridge Open Ground & Battle Ground" program, which supports investment attraction, technology collaboration, and overseas market entry all at once, the agency said Thursday.
The program is open to companies in Gyeonggi Province that were founded within the past seven years. The GBSA will select participating companies across three areas: investment attraction capability building, technology collaboration, and global expansion support.
The investment attraction capability building program will select 10 companies and provide stage-by-stage support, from corporate diagnosis to one-on-one customized mentoring, IR consulting, investment consultations, and demo days. Active investment reviewers from major venture capital firms, including Mirae Asset Venture Investment, NextGate Partners, and New Paradigm Investment, will participate as mentors to help refine business plans and match companies with investors.
The technology collaboration program will select three companies and provide proof-of-concept (PoC) opportunities with large corporations. LG Electronics, Naver Cloud, and Hyundai Department Store will participate as partner companies, supporting the entire process from identifying collaboration tasks to technology validation and expert consulting.
The global expansion support program will first select 20 companies for capability diagnosis and training, then select a final five companies through stage-by-stage evaluation. Selected companies will receive support including entry strategy mentoring, English IR material production, and online IR meetups targeting overseas investors. They will also be given a chance to compete in a global audition tied to the "Gyeonggi Startup Summit" to be held in October.
The GBSA plans to continue supporting outstanding companies even after the program ends, through the operators' review of direct investment, follow-up investment consultations, and networking connections.
Yoo Tae-il, standing executive director of the GBSA's corporate growth division, said, "A startup's growth is not achieved through investment alone." He added, "Sustainable growth becomes possible when technology collaboration and global market entry proceed together." He continued, "We will strengthen stage-by-stage support so that promising startups in the province can secure competitiveness in the global market."
Detailed support information can be found in the announcement on the Gyeonggi Startup Platform.
