Yongin announced Tuesday that it has introduced a "Riverside Walking Trail Guide Map."
The map, posted on the city government's website, contains information on 24 walking trails, including those along Gasancheon, Gomaecheon, Gongsecheon, Gwanjeongcheon, Geumhakcheon, Geumeocheon, Dongmakcheon, Jeongpyeongcheon, Jubukcheon, Jinwicheon, Singalcheon, Yangjicheon and Yeongdeokcheon streams. It shows the locations of entrances and exits, exercise facilities, restrooms and other key amenities.
Yongin systematically organized previously scattered riverside trail information so it can be viewed at a glance, allowing residents to use the facilities conveniently.
The city plans to periodically update the guide map's status and photos with the latest data, while expanding citizen-centered administrative services by adding various information through links with disaster closed-circuit television (CCTV) and other systems.
"We prepared the guide map so that residents can use the riverside walking trails more easily and conveniently," a Yongin city official said. "We will continue to supplement the information to improve user convenience going forward."
