Saturday will bring hot weather across the country, with occasional clouds and daytime highs reaching up to 32 degrees Celsius.
Morning lows are forecast at 13 to 19 degrees, and daytime highs at 26 to 32 degrees. Daytime temperatures will rise to around 30 degrees in most areas nationwide. Daegu will surge to 32 degrees. Seoul, Cheongju, Daejeon and Sejong will also be hot, with daytime temperatures climbing to 31 degrees.
Central regions and the Gyeongbuk area will be mostly clear, while southern regions will see occasional clouds. Jeju Island will be mostly cloudy. From afternoon to evening, showers may fall mainly across the inland Jeolla region. Expected rainfall is 5 to 20 millimeters in inland North Jeolla and inland Gwangju and South Jeolla.
Fine dust concentrations will range from "good" to "moderate" across all regions.
Sea waves will rise 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the coastal waters of the East Sea, West Sea and South Sea. Waves in the inner offshore waters (within about 200 kilometers of the coastline) are also expected to reach 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the East Sea, West Sea and South Sea.
