Yongin will accept applications for its "2026 Eco-Friendly Agricultural Produce Support Program for Pregnant Women" from the 17th through the 30th, the city said Monday.
Selected recipients can receive eco-friendly agricultural produce worth 240,000 won per person annually. Items can be chosen at an online shopping mall. The support funds cover 80 percent of the purchase amount, with the remaining 20 percent paid by the individual.
Pregnant women as of the application date or mothers who gave birth on or after January 1, 2025, are eligible for the benefit. Those selected for other support programs with the same purpose, such as the food voucher program or Nutrition Plus, are excluded. Applications can be made through "Eco-i Mall."
Those who find it difficult to apply online can visit the eup, myeon or dong administrative welfare center with jurisdiction over their registered address, bringing a resident registration certificate and documents verifying pregnancy or childbirth.
"This year, the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs is reviewing the appropriateness of the project plan, so it has started somewhat later than in previous years," a Yongin city official said. "We ask for citizens' understanding regarding the somewhat delayed implementation of the project, and we will do our best to ensure prompt selection of recipients and stable operation of the program."
