Seosan, a city in South Chungcheong Province, will provide petrochemical industry workers up to 800,000 won each, investing 1.3 billion won in state funds as the second phase of its Beotim-Ieum Project, the city said Thursday.
The city will pay a minimum of 500,000 won and a maximum of 800,000 won per person in Seosan Love Gift Certificates. The amount is determined by the number of dependents. The city expects the number of eligible workers to reach about 1,600. Applications will be accepted through June 12.
Applications can be made by visiting the Daesan-eup Administrative Welfare Center or the Seosan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and online applications are also available through Chungnam Beotim-Ieum. In March, through the first phase of the Beotim-Ieum Project, the city provided 500,000 won per person to 3,995 daily workers and freight transport workers.
