The Korea Forest Service is accelerating efforts to strengthen its forest policy communication capabilities.
The Korea Forest Service said it held the "First Training Session on Strengthening 2026 Forest Policy Communication" on Tuesday at the Sejong National Arboretum auditorium, with about 90 media communication officials from the headquarters and affiliated organizations attending.
Under the theme of "Digital Communication Transformation," the session covered recent trends in policy communication, methods for designing messages to promote forest policy efficiently, and ways to strengthen crisis management capabilities.
"We must engage in policy communication with a swift and flexible approach that matches the changing reality, so that forest policy and policy communication can produce tangible results," Korea Forest Service Minister Park Eun-sik said.
