Ulsan City and Ulsan Technopark (Ulsan TP) are launching comprehensive support across the entire product development process to boost manufacturing startups in the region and help them enter the market.
Ulsan TP announced Thursday that it is publicly recruiting companies to participate in the "2026 U-SPACE Integrated Product Development Support Program" until 6 p.m. on June 4. The program is designed for early-stage startups and prospective entrepreneurs in Ulsan who possess strong ideas but struggle to bring them to life due to a lack of manufacturing expertise.
The program is open to prospective entrepreneurs and small and medium-sized startups in Ulsan that have been in business for less than seven years. Ulsan TP will select 10 companies through a screening process and provide differentiated funding of up to 10 million won, depending on each company's product development maturity.
Selected companies will gain access to the advanced infrastructure of Ulsan TP's U-SPACE. Manufacturing experts will be closely involved throughout the entire process, from product design and CMF (color, material, and finish) planning to 3D modeling, working mock-up production, and pilot production. In addition, top-performing companies will receive one-stop services to help them establish themselves in the market, including investor relations (IR) connections for attracting investment and support for opening new sales channels.
Applications can be submitted online through the Ulsan Technopark website until June 4, with final results to be announced in June.
"We will spare no effort in providing practical support for the productization and growth of local startups," an Ulsan TP official said.
