Namyangju City in Gyeonggi Province has partnered with Kyungbok University to offer free one-on-one job consulting aimed at strengthening the employment capabilities of local youth.
The city said Wednesday that it will provide professional career consulting starting on the 11th in cooperation with Kyungbok University's University Job Plus Center. The initiative responds to growing demand for customized employment support at the municipal level amid a prolonged youth job market slump.
The consulting sessions will be held on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., at the shared workspace on the third floor of the Youth Startup Center. The program is open to youth aged 19 to 39 residing in Namyangju.
Professional consultants from Kyungbok University's University Job Plus Center will provide one-on-one counseling. Services will be tailored to individual circumstances and include resume and cover letter editing, career counseling, and the development of job preparation strategies.
Youth interested in participating can apply by scanning the QR code on the program poster. Further details are available in the recruitment announcement on the city's official website.
"We are strengthening practical employment support so that young people can build competitiveness and design their desired career paths amid a changing recruitment environment," a Namyangju City official said. "We will continue to pursue policies that support youth as they make a stable transition into society."
