Ulsan City is expanding its "2026 International Express Overseas Logistics Cost Support Program" for local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) facing increased logistics burdens due to the prolonged Middle East conflict.
The expansion aims to ease management burdens on companies caused by rising oil prices, exchange rates, and detour shipping routes.
The program's budget will be increased from 200 million won to 300 million won, with the number of beneficiaries expanding to around 110 companies.
The maximum support per company has been raised from 4 million won to 7 million won.
Notably, additional logistics costs incurred due to the Middle East conflict — including inland transport costs for alternative ports, war risk surcharges, and warehouse storage fees — will also be eligible for support.
Applications can be submitted starting on the 1st through the Ulsan Trade Support System and other channels until the budget is exhausted.
