Suwon City is launching a streamlined export promotion program for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
The program targets local SMEs that possess strong technological capabilities and growth potential but face difficulties in opening overseas sales channels. Under the initiative, promotional videos for these companies and their products will be filmed, produced and broadcast overseas.
The city provides one-stop, free support covering the entire process, from video production to export and promotion. After recruiting participating companies in April, the city selected 12 firms through a screening process.
The completed videos will be edited and broadcast to 134 countries via Arirang TV starting in August.
"We will continue to expand field-oriented, specialized support measures so that Suwon's SMEs can advance into the global stage in a stable manner," said Han Jeong-rye, head of Suwon City's Corporate Support Division.
