A fatal incident beneath Seoul's Hannam Bridge temporarily disrupted Han River Bus operations, authorities said.
According to fire authorities on the 31st, a man in his 70s identified as A jumped from Hannam Bridge into the Han River at around 1:45 p.m. that day. A was transported by the water rescue team and received cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), but was pronounced dead at the scene.
The rescue vessel docked at the Apgujeong pier during the operation, delaying Han River Bus services in both directions between Jamsil and Yeouido by approximately 25 minutes each, according to reports.
