Seoul Metro is recruiting 150 "Subway Safety Helpers" for the second half of 2026 to ensure passenger safety and ease congestion.
Those selected will be deployed at major congested stations from July 20 to December 31, performing duties such as managing passenger flow during evening rush hours and patrolling stations.
The program is part of the Seoul Metropolitan Government's Donghaeng (Companion) Jobs initiative. Applications will be accepted in person to accommodate participation by those with limited digital access.
Applications will be accepted on-site at Majang Station on Subway Line 5 from May 27 to June 2.
Applicants must be Seoul residents aged 18 or older, with assets of no more than 499 million won and household income at or below 85 percent of the median standard income.
Working hours are from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., with a monthly salary of approximately 1.66 million won before taxes.
