A Hangeul cultural hub will be established at Jochiwon Station in Sejong City. Sejong City and the Sejong Creative Economy Innovation Center announced Wednesday that they will create "Hangeul-ro Jochiwon," a Hangeul cultural hub space inside Jochiwon Station, and are recruiting an operator.
"Hangeul-ro Jochiwon" is a project to establish a cultural hub space at Jochiwon Station, a key transportation gateway to Sejong City, that reflects the identity of Sejong as a Hangeul cultural city and to utilize it as tourism content. Eligible applicants are individuals or businesses with experience operating cafés and bakeries (F&B) who either have a business address in Sejong City or are able to relocate to Sejong City upon selection. Applications will be accepted until 11 a.m. on June 12.
The selected operator will run a café and bakery as well as a goods sales space centered on Hangeul culture.
