The country will see mostly clear skies and summer-like heat on Sunday, with daytime temperatures rising sharply across the nation.
Morning lows are expected to range from 12 to 19 degrees Celsius, while daytime highs will reach 26 to 33 degrees.
Daytime temperatures are projected to exceed 30 degrees in most regions. The maximum apparent temperature will climb to around 31 degrees, particularly in the southern part of North Gyeongsang Province.
The temperature gap between day and night is also expected to remain wide at around 15 degrees for the time being.
Fog may form from dawn through morning along the western coast of Incheon and Gyeonggi Province, in the South Chungcheong region, and in other parts of the Jeolla region.
Waves will reach 0.5 to 1.0 meters in coastal waters of the East Sea and around 0.5 meters in coastal waters of the West Sea and South Sea. Wave heights in the inner offshore waters (offshore areas within about 200 kilometers of the coastline) are expected to range from 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the East Sea, West Sea, and South Sea.
