Incheon Urban Development Corp. (iH) on Thursday disclosed the results of its new recruitment drive for this year. A total of 2,519 applicants competed for 60 positions in the recently closed application period.
The competition ratio between office and technical positions diverged nearly threefold. Level 7 office positions recorded a ratio of 75.6-to-1, while Level 7 technical positions stood at 27.5-to-1. The gap is attributed to specialized qualification requirements in fields such as civil engineering and construction, which acted as entry barriers.
For 18 office positions, 1,362 applicants are competing. For technical roles, 1,157 applicants are vying for 42 spots.
The written exam will be held on June 13. Final successful candidates will be determined in August after document screening, personality assessment and interviews.
Applicants eligible for employment support in technical positions can submit additional applications through the 28th. Two additional civil engineering positions and one additional construction position will be filled.
