KINTEX announced Tuesday that it is recruiting exhibitors for the "2026 Urban Safety Technology Show," to be held from October 14 to 16.
The exhibition is a specialized trade show that brings together safety technologies related to urban safety, disaster response, and the climate crisis. Domestic and international companies in the public and private safety sectors can apply through the official website. Early applicants who register by June 30 will receive a discount of 200,000 won per booth.
Aimed at building a citizen safety network, the exhibition will spotlight four core solutions: climate crisis response, urban crisis response, infrastructure management, and protection of vulnerable populations. A wide range of safety solutions needed by local governments and public institutions will be on display, from technologies for preventing climate disasters such as heat waves and floods to management of aging facilities and protection systems for the socially disadvantaged.
The event will be held jointly with the "2026 Korea Construction and Safety Expo," now in its eighth edition. Various programs designed to enhance business outcomes will also be offered, including an International Safe City Special Pavilion and practical training programs for public officials. The Low-Carbon and AI Safety Management Awards, hosted by the sponsoring Urban Regeneration Safety Association, will be held concurrently.
"Amid a rapidly changing environment marked by the climate crisis and aging urban infrastructure, the value of safety technology is becoming more important than ever," KINTEX CEO Lee Min-woo said. "We will work to ensure that this exhibition becomes a practical business platform for companies in the field."
