Clear and sunny spring weather will continue across the nation on Saturday, the ninth.
Daytime highs are expected to reach 20 to 26 degrees Celsius, similar to seasonal averages. Clear skies will persist under the influence of a high-pressure system, and temperatures will rise as warm southwesterly winds flow in. Daytime highs in major regions will reach 23 degrees in Seoul, 21 degrees in Incheon, 22 degrees in Wonju and Gangneung, 23 degrees in Daejeon and Gwangju, and 24 degrees in Daegu and Ulsan. However, the temperature gap between day and night will widen significantly to 15 to 20 degrees, centered on inland areas nationwide.
Dry weather advisories have been issued for Daegu, North Gyeongsang Province and other areas. Parts of the Seoul metropolitan area, Gangwon's east coast, North Chungcheong Province, and other Gyeongsang regions will also experience dry conditions. The dry weather advisories may be expanded. The Korea Meteorological Administration urged caution to prevent forest fires, including refraining from using open flames and burning waste in areas adjacent to forests.
Sunday, the 10th, will also be mostly clear nationwide, with morning lows of 6 to 14 degrees and daytime highs of 20 to 27 degrees.
