The Geomdan Prehistoric Museum in Incheon has extended the viewing period of its children's hands-on exhibition, "Every Nook and Cranny, Relic's Journey Through the World," through the 31st.
The exhibition is a participatory program that explains the process of how artifacts are excavated from the ground and displayed in museum exhibition halls, presented at a level suitable for children. Originally scheduled to end earlier this month, the museum decided to extend the exhibition due to strong response from family and group visitors.
The exhibition is held free of charge at the special exhibition hall on the second floor and operates from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., except on Mondays when the museum is closed. In July, another hands-on exhibition, "Secrets Hidden in Boulders: The Story of Incheon's Dolmens," will also be held.
"As we mark Family Month, we hope this special children's hands-on exhibition will provide a meaningful opportunity for diverse experiences," Cho Kyu-myung, director of the Geomdan Prehistoric Museum, said.
