
Three city buses collided in a chain accident near Jongno 2-ga in central Seoul.
According to fire authorities on Thursday, a report was received at around 8:15 p.m. that three buses had collided in succession. Two people were taken to the hospital with back and other injuries, while nine others sustained minor injuries.
Investigations by authorities found that the accident occurred when a bus following behind rear-ended the bus in front as it was stopping at a bus stop.
Police, who confirmed that there were no signs of drinking or similar circumstances involving the bus drivers, are working to determine the exact cause of the accident.
