KEPCO KPS, which has concentrated its company-wide efforts on building an ethics management system, has been named an outstanding institution for ethics management practices for the second consecutive year.
KEPCO KPS announced Tuesday that it received the Excellence Award (Yoon Kyung Forum Representative Award) at the award ceremony for the 6th Ethics Management Practice Outstanding Institution Contest, recently held at the Ahn Jung-geun Memorial Hall in Seoul.
The company earned the honor for the second year in a row in recognition of its contribution to spreading a culture of ethics management practices through the systematic implementation of ethics management institutions and systems.
The award reflects the company's implementation of an ethics management system with a clear direction and its efforts to improve all employees' accessibility to ethics management.
"We will more actively pursue preemptive ethics risk prevention and activities to raise ethical awareness among executives and employees through efforts aligned with the government's ethics management policy for public institutions," KEPCO KPS CEO Kim Hong-yeon said. "We will use this award as an opportunity to push forward comprehensive ethics policies so that we become a public enterprise trusted by the people."
