Five deer have escaped in Gwangmyeong, Gyeonggi Province.
Gwangmyeong City Hall sent out an emergency text message at around 2:32 p.m. on Saturday, announcing that five deer had escaped near Okgil-dong in Gwangmyeong.
Fire authorities received a report from the owner of a deer farm and dispatched personnel to the scene. Of the escaped animals, three were identified as adults and two as young deer.
Gwangmyeong City urged residents to stay alert and asked them to report any sightings of the escaped deer.
Fire authorities and the local government are preparing an operation to capture the escaped deer.
