Cho Jae-bok (26), who beat his mother-in-law to death and abandoned her body in a suitcase, and his wife Choi (26), who is accused of aiding the crime, have been sent to prosecutors in custody.
The Daegu Bukbu Police Station announced Thursday that it had forwarded Cho Jae-bok to prosecutors on charges of murder of an ascendant, body abandonment, assault, and unlawful confinement. Choi, the victim's daughter and Cho's wife, was also sent to prosecutors in custody on charges of body abandonment.
