Incheon Mayor Yu Jeong-bok visited the Seochang Public Bus Depot in Namdong District on January 9 to encourage on-site workers and inspect operational conditions.
During the visit, Mayor Yu toured the vehicle maintenance facilities and electric and hydrogen bus charging stations, closely examining the safety of maintenance equipment, charging facility management status, fire prevention systems, and emergency response protocols.
"Maintenance and charging facilities, which are the core foundation of bus operations, must have no gaps whatsoever in safety management," Mayor Yu said. "I deeply appreciate the hard work of transport workers and on-site staff who serve as the feet of our citizens."
Based on the inspection results, the Incheon Metropolitan Government plans to pursue operational efficiency improvements and strengthen safety management systems at public bus depots.
