The Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution Korea (C4IR KOREA), operated by the Gyeonggi-do Business & Science Accelerator (GBSA), is recruiting companies to participate in the "2026 Korea Frontier Program."
According to GBSA on Friday, the program targets companies in future industry sectors including artificial intelligence (AI), semiconductors, smart manufacturing, climate, bio, and govtech. A total of 30 companies will be selected, with applications accepted online through the Gyeonggi Business Secretary portal until the 17th.
Applicants must be corporations that have raised cumulative investments of 3 billion won or more. The CEO or co-founder must participate directly, and English communication ability is required.
Selected companies will receive opportunities for activities linked to the World Economic Forum (WEF). They can gain priority participation in events including the Summer Davos Forum in Dalian, China in June, the Global Summit Forum in Suwon in September, and the Innovator Community Annual Meeting in New York in December.
The program also provides technology and business model diagnostics for each company, overseas market entry strategy development, and global IR pitching consulting. Participants will also have opportunities to join technology exchange sessions connected with Fourth Industrial Revolution centers across 24 countries worldwide.
Final results will be announced on May 6 following document and presentation evaluations. Selected companies will participate in the program for approximately 10 months.
"At a time when competition for technological hegemony is intensifying, it is important for deep tech companies to leap into global markets," said Kim Hyun-gon, President of GBSA. "This will serve as an opportunity to expand growth opportunities for companies based on global networks."
