The Biopharmaceutical Division of the Jeonnam Bio Foundation announced Wednesday that it conducted the 2026 Chosun University College of Pharmacy Pharmaceutical Practical Training program.
The training program was offered to 11 sixth-year pharmacy students at Chosun University. The curriculum combined theory and hands-on practice based on Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.
The coursework focused on industry-applicable subjects such as GMP quality system operations, biopharmaceutical quality control, and manufacturing facility management, aiming to enhance participants' understanding and strengthen their practical capabilities.
The program has been carried out on an ongoing basis since the Biopharmaceutical Division of the Jeonnam Bio Foundation and Chosun University's College of Pharmacy signed a cooperation agreement for pharmaceutical practical training.
"We hope pharmacists will take interest in diverse career paths and assume key roles in the biopharmaceutical industry," said Seo Dong-sam, head of the Biopharmaceutical Division at the Jeonnam Bio Foundation.
Meanwhile, the Jeonnam Bio Foundation is strengthening its role as a domestic bio workforce development hub, centered on the WHO Global Bio Hwasun Campus, and accelerating regional talent cultivation through continued expansion of cooperation with local universities.
