Sejong Technopark (Sejong TP), a regional innovation agency, is launching corporate support initiatives to foster regional core industries in partnership with the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Korea Technology and Information Promotion Agency for SMEs.
Sejong TP said Monday that it is recruiting participating companies through April 15, following a project briefing session for its Sejong region-specific project "Legend 50+ 2.0."
The program targets companies in the intelligent mobility parts industry and functional bio-materials industry within the Sejong region, providing intensive support for technology commercialization and business performance.
Total project funding amounts to 147 million won. Selected companies can freely choose from available support programs, receiving up to 25 million won each.
The support consists of 12 programs covering the full cycle from pre-R&D stages to post-R&D commercialization stages, offering customized intensive assistance.
Companies wishing to participate can apply online by referring to the recruitment notice on the Sejong TP website and the Regional Specialized Industry Development Corporate Support Project Management System (RMS) website.
"We will intensively support Sejong's core industry companies in strengthening technological competitiveness and entering new markets," Sejong TP President Yang Hyeon-bong said. "We hope for strong interest and participation from companies."
