Tri-Bowl, an arts venue in Songdo, Incheon, will hold its fourth classical music festival this year. Over three days, top Korean performers including pianist Cho Jae-hyuk will take the stage. This year's edition adds a new citizen-participation program in which families perform on stage, evolving the event from a "listening festival" into a "creating festival."

Tri-Bowl, operated by the Incheon Foundation for Arts and Culture, will host the 2026 Tri-Bowl Classic Festival from May 8 to 10. Spanning works from Baroque to contemporary music, the festival opens with a piano recital by Cho Jae-hyuk, followed by a lineup that includes Ensemble Pache, a duo of cellist Moon Tae-guk and pianist Park Jong-hae, and a Baroque program by Arendt & Jung Min-ho. On the final day, the 23-member Tri-Bowl Festival Chamber ensemble, conducted by Yeo Ja-gyeong, will perform the closing concert.

The centerpiece of this year's festival is the "Tri-Bowl Family Harmony Project," a citizen-participation performance. The program invites families to play instruments and sing together to create a complete stage production. Through preliminary workshops and a main concert, participating families will form a family chamber orchestra and a choral ensemble.

Alongside the performances, a curated exhibition titled "Incheon Young Artists Exhibition 2026 — Incheon/Place of Boundaries" will be held indoors. The festival's programming was developed in collaboration with a planning team comprising performance director Lee Seung-muk and composer Park Shin-ae.

"This festival offers an expanded experience, moving from 'listening to music' to 'making music together,'" a Tri-Bowl official said. "We hope it becomes an opportunity for audiences to encounter art naturally in their everyday lives."

All seats are priced between 15,000 won and 20,000 won. Tickets are available through NT Ticket and Nol Ticket.
