Han Jun-ho, a candidate in the Democratic Party of Korea's primary for Gyeonggi Province governor, has launched an all-out effort to secure a spot in the runoff as the main primary enters its final stage.
In a message released on the morning of the 7th, Han stressed, "Today is the end and now is the moment of decision," adding, "The dominant tide is shaking and our momentum is rising." He continued, "A door opens only when you push it one last time," urging supporters to take active steps and participate.
"It would be a waste to stop here — if we push through now, we make the runoff," Han said, emphasizing that rallying votes until the very last moment is more important than anything.
He expressed confidence, claiming he had secured an overwhelming second-place finish in the preliminary primary. Han also conveyed his determination to carry the upward momentum built by party members' support through the main primary and stage a comeback victory in the runoff.
"Even a dried squid releases water when you squeeze it. Just three drops are enough," he said, appealing to supporters to "deliver just 3 more votes."
Han also expressed confidence in building a cooperative relationship with President Lee Jae-myung regarding future provincial governance.
"Give me the chance to work properly with the president for the next four years," Han said, outlining his vision to deliver results through close coordination between Gyeonggi provincial administration and national policy.
