Police have launched an investigation after a comment threatening arson on Seoul's Subway Line 1 was posted on YouTube.
According to police on Tuesday, the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency received a report at around 1:16 p.m. that a comment had been posted on a YouTube Shorts video reading, "Tomorrow I'm going to Line 1 with gasoline and a lighter to set a fire. Don't try to stop me."
Yongsan Police Station has been assigned the case and is tracking down the commenter after requesting cooperation from YouTube.
As no specific subway station was identified in the threat, police plan to strengthen patrols across all stations on Line 1.
