This is part of a promotional text message mass-distributed to the local community by preliminary candidate Lee Ho-gyun, who has entered the Democratic Party of Korea's primary for Mokpo mayor in South Jeolla Province ahead of the June 3 local elections.
When the South Jeolla provincial chapter of the Democratic Party was asked to verify the content of the text message, it confirmed that "candidate Lee Ho-gyun has no record of leaving the party."
