Lotte World Adventure Busan, a major theme park in Korea's southern port city, is bringing back its fireworks show after a hiatus of nearly a year, the park announced on the 6th. The show was suspended after May last year.
The revamped fireworks go beyond the previous format that combined pyrotechnics with parades. The park has elevated its nighttime offerings into a "multi-format nighttime content" experience by integrating fireworks with a multimedia show.
The centerpiece is the combination with "GLorry Lights," a castle mapping show that debuted in September last year. Fireworks are set against Lorry Castle, which serves as a canvas for 3D projections, heightening the visual immersion. The 10-minute performance synchronizes fireworks with theme music, boosting both audience engagement and satisfaction.
"The fireworks unfolding above the vividly transformed Lorry Castle will create scenes that overwhelm the audience's gaze," a park official said.
The park has also bolstered its performance lineup for the spring season. Each evening, Lorry Castle transforms into the strawberry-and-cream-themed "Sweet Castle" to capture a seasonal atmosphere. The "Fairy Tale Fantasia Parade" features characters including Alice, Peter Pan and Pinocchio, targeting family visitors. A live band performance called "Singing Forest," featuring vocals, violin and saxophone, is also on offer.
The fireworks show will take place at Royal Garden Plaza at 8:10 p.m. on the 11th and 25th of this month.
